
Virginia Yañez Fontenla, DDS
Dr. Virginia Yanez is a board certified pediatric dentist who was born and raised in Spain where she earned her dental degree. Her interest in the American culture and academics led her to moving to the United States in 2013 when she was accepted to complete a three year program (combination of a one year Community Dentistry fellowship and two years in the Advance Education in General Dentistry program)at Eastman Dental Institute for Oral Health (EIOH) in Rochester, NY. She continued her education receiving her Pediatric Dentistry specialty certificate at EIOH.
Dr. Yanez has a fellowship in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) and completed a Nasoalveolar molding workshop in New York University Langone Medical Center.
Dr. Yanez is passionate helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and enjoys fabricating nasoalveolar molding (NAM) appliances for infants with cleft lip and palate.
Her goal is to make every child’s first visit to the dentist a memorable, comfortable and a fun experience.
In her spare time Dr. Yanez enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves swimming, being outdoors and traveling whenever she can.

Erica DiMarco, DDS
Originally from Webster, NY, Dr. DiMarco is a registered pediatric dentist and a shining light at our practice, wholely dedicated to the treatment of children’s smiles.
She received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and continued her education at the University of Buffalo’s dental school, graduating with honors. Her pediatric residency was completed at the Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.
Her treatment style reflects the values of evidence-based dentistry. Evidence-based dentistry is an approach to oral care that integrates systematic assessments of clinically relevant scientific evidence, relating to the patient’s oral and medical condition and history with dental expertise. This also means treating each and every patient as an individual, considering their needs and preferences at each juncture.
Dr. DiMarco is a member of the AAPD, ADA, 7th District Dental Society, and is a board member of the Monroe County Dental Society. She has also completed extensive research in the field of laser dentistry and implantology and has had the privilege of being published in multiple dental journals and speaking at national dental conferences.
When not in the office, she loves spending time with her husband and two young daughters, as well as cooking for family and friends.

Tyger Foster, DDS
Dr. Foster attended the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2002, and then proceeded with his residency at the John R. Oishei Children's hospital until 2004Dr. Foster has been board certified by The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry since 2008. He is a member of the ABPD, AAPD, ADA, 7th District Dental Society, and the Monroe County Dental Society.
Dr. Foster shared his research on the comprehensive treatment of pediatric patients under general anesthesia at the 2004 International Association for Dental Research conference. He was also the lead author of a scientific article published in the Journal of Dentistry for Children in 2006, based on research he presented at IADR, and has given multiple lectures on dental research to other dentists.
On weekends, Dr. Foster loves spending time with his life partner, Jillian, their seven children, and their French bulldog, Pearl. Their family is affectionately called the “party of nine” because everywhere they go they bring a party. You can spot the whole family cheering each other on at their sporting events and other extra-curricular activities.
Dr. Foster enjoys wakeboarding, snowboarding, traveling, watching movies with his family, camping, and attending concerts and live theatre. He loves watching the Buffalo Bills, LA Lakers, and the Colorado Avalanche.

Mitra Heidari, DMD, MS
Dr. Heidari is a board-certified pediatric dentist. An Iranian-born, Swedish-raised, and Polish-trained dentist, she is cosmopolitan in nature.
Her career as a general dentist began in Jakobstad, Finland. She later moved to the US to pursue her American dream and create a new other life. She completed her residency training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester in 2017.Then, she decided to pursue her dream of being a pediatric dentist and enrolled in Eastman's residency program. After completing her residency training in 2019, she became an Assistant Professor of pediatric dentistry. She earned her Master's degree in Health Professions Education from Warner School of Education during that time.
In addition to providing dental care to kids, Dr. Heidari enjoys building warm relationships with parents and families, teaching future pediatric dentists, and providing dental care to underprivileged groups.
Her other interests include physical activities, travel, and baking Scandinavian pastries.
